So, our office does Team Building games every Friday morning. Today we played Ghetto Jeopardy, where instead of everyone having buzzers, they instead stand near the game master, who is holding a magic marker, with their fingers to their temples. In order to guess an answer, they must hit the marker and say 'Buzz!' before the other two contestants do.
Everyone breaks up into three teams and get into lines. The first person from each team goes up and does their round. Once they're done, they go to the back of their team's line. Whichever contestant's team got the previous question right gets to choose the category on their turn. I was second in line for my team, but we didn't get the previous question right, so I stepped up and saw my competitors were two big sports fanatics. I instantly felt a pit form in the pit of my stomach. The guy from Team 1 got to choose the category.
"Sports History for 500."
My team, knowing I don't know shit or give a shit about pretty much any sport not involving an engine and wheels, all groaned in disappointment. I'm normally the one they turn to for anything dealing with movies, video games, technology, and 90's entertainment. I am definitely not who they turn to when it comes to sports. I turned to them and gave them my most sincere "I'm sorry" shrug, before turning around to hear the question.
" This legendary Formula 1 driver died in 1994 in Imola, It-"
"BUZZ!"
I was the only one who buzzed.
The entire room looked at me like I'd just grown a second head.
"Who is Ayrton Senna.", I answered.
The entire room looked to the game master. He was also looking at me like I'd grown an extra head, before finally announcing "Correct."
At this point I'd apparently grown a multitude of spare heads, judging by how everyone was looking at me. I turned around and began to head back to my team, who promptly began a mixture of cheers and "How the fuck did you know that?"
A few turns later I also earned us another 400 points by correctly answering "Who is Caesar Chavez," to the question "This boxer has the longest undefeated streak in boxing history."
When I got that one right as well, the game master actually asked me how I knew those two answers. I replied "Boxing and motorsports- the only two sports I give a damn about."
Apparently today was my day. =D

You should not have answered the first question.
It's a secret.
